We walked in and they said reservations only with plenty of open tables, but they let us sit in the bar. The food was delicious but took a while to get to us. I’m guessing they may have been understaffed for service and kitchen, but if you have time the food is definitely worth it! We will order take out next time, if needing something quicker. The bread, pizza and tortellini alla vodka were all delicious!

Wonderful Italian food. The chef has been in this area a very long time and prepares all dishes to order. Austin normally waits on us. He remembers us when we come in and that is nice. Atmosphere is fine but if they were to change it up just a little it could go a long way. Pictured is Scallops bruschetta (on special that night) house salad, Caprese salad, Seafood Ala-vodka, and chicken Franchise. Def. Recommend.

We literally just stepped out of the restaurant and I’m already leaving a review. That’s how great our experience was. We were going to our typical Italian restaurant to celebrate my birthday but didn’t realize they were closed on Sundays so we decided to try Mangia Qui after looking at their menu and WOW are we glad we did. We started with the clams in wine sauce with focaccia. Delicious. We basically inhaled it. Then we had the carbona, seafood risotto, and chicken parm equally amazing. Even the bread they brought to the table was warm and soft. Austin was our server and he was really attentive. My husband casually mentioned that it was my birthday and Austin brought me cannolis with a lit candle :) Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back. (Did not get a photo of our dishes because we scarfed them down)

Great experience! Very good and attentive service. Caprese and Cesar salads were good - caprese tomatoes were some of the best we've had. Good value and big portions - especially the huge focaccia bread appetizer! Tried a watermelon soda for fun, that was good and sweet, and my wife enjoyed her Cheryll mixed drink. Grilled chicken pesto pizza was huge and delicious! Chicken and sausage Florentine was fantastic as well. Raspberry Limoncello cake for dessert finished off a perfect meal. 10/10, would recommend!

This was my second time here it never disappoints! This time, my fiancé had the Seafood Alla Vodka, which has jumbo shrimp, sea scallops, tomato vodka cream, parmesan, and fresh fettuccine. Price: 29. I had the Tortellini Alla Vodka, which has ricotta cheese tortellini, tomato vodka cream sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan. Price: 18. Both dishes were amazing, but his was definitely better. Go for the Seafood Alla Vodka every time. You will not be disappointed! :-)

Amazing food and amazing service. Authentic Italian cuisine.

Mangia Qui is an absolutely AMAZING restaurant! My husband and I searched for literally months to find a rehearsal dinner spot that was clean, pretty, delicious, would let us rent out the whole restaurant, was near VA beach, and perhaps most importantly, would be within my in-law’s budget. We tried or spoke to over 70 restaurants (yes, 70!) and this was the ONLY one that met all of our criteria. We worked with Austin primarily and he was awesome, answering tons of emails and questions for us. The food was amazing—way better than our wedding food, LOL, and the staff was super nice and accommodating. They made a special area for us to set up gifts and goody bags, and their bar/appetizer room worked perfectly in conjunction with the food/main dining room. They also let us set up a projector and we had tons of fun playing games and showing photograph slideshows. Overall, I really can’t recommend Mangia Qui enough. Their prices are fair, their food is delicious, and they are an absolute delight to work with. We can’t wait to return here on our anniversary in the future!

This place is THE place for Italian. Don’t be skeptical from street view, this place is worth your time. I had the eggplant parmesan and tiramisu. My husband had the gluten free pizza and the crust was so good, we had to double check with the server to make sure it was gluten free (it was). Everything was a 10/10 and we can’t wait to return!
